4. Collection and processing of data

When you visit this website, your browser automatically transmits the following information:

4.1 Instagram posts on the home page

On the home page we show recent posts from our Instagram profile @lk_scenes. These posts (images, texts, links) are retrieved by our server at regular intervals through Meta’s interface and stored on our server. When you visit our page, the content is delivered exclusively from our own server. Your browser does not connect to Instagram or Meta, and no cookies or similar technologies are set. Only when you click on a post do you leave our site and go to Instagram (see section 6).
During retrieval, our server transmits technical data (e.g. its IP address) to Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland. Personal data of visitors to our site is not affected. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in an appealing presentation of our content).

6. External links (Instagram)

This website contains a link to Instagram. When you click the link, you leave this website.

7. Click counting via the redirect link

On our Instagram profile we link to our website via a redirect link (lukasz-knappik.de/go/…).
When this link is opened, we store only the date, time and the name of the source (e.g. “instagram”) to learn how many visitors reach our website through which channel.
No cookies are set, no IP addresses are stored and no user profiles are created.
The data cannot be traced back to individual persons. You are then redirected to our website automatically.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in measuring the reach of our content). The statistics are kept as long as they are needed for this purpose. A report is sent by email to the website operator.

8. Anonymous counting in the photo gallery

The photo gallery keeps anonymous daily counters: whether an image was viewed and whether the share function was opened, completed or cancelled. Only the date, image number, event, a rough device class (smartphone, tablet or computer) and the selected language are stored. IP addresses, cookies and browser identifiers are not stored. If your browser sends “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control”, nothing is counted. When an image is shared, the operator may receive an email containing only the image number, device class and language.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in knowing how popular the images are).

9. Your rights

You have the right at any time to access, rectify or erase your stored data, as well as to restrict processing, to object and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; in Baden-Württemberg this is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
